new race parts at dan’s comp

In our continuing quest for complete BMX domination, Dan’s Comp has added even more Race parts to our ever-growing line up.

Check out all the new parts from Cliq, including their new pro-sized Turnbar handlebars in 8″ or 8.25″ rise:

Back in stock from SE Racing, we have one of the most iconic parts in BMX history, the Landing Gear fork (in both 20″ and 24″ cruiser sizes).

From THE, these number plate backgrounds allow you to customize your Supermoto plate in a bunch of different ways. Available in Pro and Mini sizes.

Redline put high-tech cranks on the map in the late 1970s and their new Microline 2-piece cranks are their latest contribution for little-through-expert-sized racers. Available in nine different sizes, starting at 130mm up to 170mm!

Check out all these parts and more in the Race section at Dan’s Comp.

Se bikes at Dan’s Comp!

One of the original BMX brands, SE Bikes, is on the shelf at Dan’s Comp with a big assortment of classically styled race bikes, including several different models of the legendary PK Ripper on up to the 24″ Floval Flyer for the cruiser class.

Dan’s Comp at the Rockford ABA Nationals

The Dan’s Comp Race crew rolled into Rockford, Illinois this past weekend for the ABA Midwest Nationals. Team riders Justin Posey and Alden Volle were on the injured list but Weston Pope, Matt Pohlkamp and Scott Moreland flew the Dan’s Comp colors and held it down in their respective classes.

Weston Pope held his own in the ultra-competitive Elite Pro class but some second moto complications kept him on the sidelines for Saturday’s main.

Scott Moreland was on the podium and looking stylish all weekend.

Matt Pohlkamp continued his domination of the Vet Pro class on Saturday amongst a stacked field.

Tons of Dan’s Comp gear was distributed to the crowd. That lady in the middle is stoked on free shirts!

Gopro hd hero video camera on the BMx track + Rockford ABA Nationals

Here’s a quick edit all shot with the GoPro HD Hero video camera mounted on the helmets of Dan’s Comp Race team riders Justin Posey and Alden Volle. Smooth, stylish, full-speed BMX, captured in HD by the GoPro. This camera works great for any kind of riding. The Dan’s Comp crew will be at the Rockford, Illinois ABA Nationals this weekend too, handing out free gear to the crowd. If you’re in the area and want to check out quality BMX racing action, stop on by.

Dan’s Comp race team in Nashville

The Dan’s Comp race team had a (mostly) great weekend at the ABA National in Nashville, TN. Matt Pohlkamp won the Vet Pro both days and Weston Pope took a third on Saturday in the Elite Mens class. Justin Posey won the Jr. Mens class on both days and won the 17-18 expert class on Saturday, but crashed while leading that same class on Sunday, breaking his wrist. Get well soon, Justin!
